Alfab, (Aluminium Fabrication) is the value addition arm of Almin Metal industries.
Housed in Almin’s premises at Corner Dagenham/Willowvale road, Alfab combines the three subdivisions of Altrans, Further Fab and Alglass into one fabrication/manufacturing concern.



LOCAL MARKET
Cut to length and DIY

The small operator has always had a problem with purchase of full lengths +5m when all that he requires is a part length. Cut-to-Length will be incorporated from which customers can get materials in sizes of their choice as opposed to the traditional minimum-one-full-length-order.

Locally, value addition will incorporate provision of finished products, off-the-shelf from our retail outlets, for the fabricators to install.

Return of old products
The bus operators indicated that there is need for supply of aluminium plates for the coach builders.

New products
Almin Healthcare Services has also been hatched in which we develop and supply the health industry with such requirements as wheel chairs and elbow crutches.
The two are already in their advanced design stages.

Import substitution
The locally designed products mentioned above will alleviate the forex shortage dogging the nation and Almin has taken the challenge from the Ministry of Industry for companies to venture on import substitution.

We also provide accessories/hardware supplies.

EXPORTS
Outside Zimbabwe, our value added products includes supply and fix contracts.

Our workshop is full equipped with the machinery and personnel required for the mentioned operations.
